PDO threads are made from a safe biocompatible, dissolvable material inserted into the skin to create a lifting effect and stimulate collagen production. During the Jawline treatment, the threads are strategically placed under the skin to subtly lift the cheeks and jawline. As the threads dissolve over time, they stimulate collagen production, firming the skin and maintaining facial contours for an extended period.

  • Apply ice to the treated area 4 to 5 times daily during the first week to reduce swelling.
  • Minimize facial movements for the first day after the procedure.
  • Avoid lifting heavy objects and strenuous activities for three weeks.
  • Refrain from drinking through a straw and avoid chewing gum for two weeks.
  • Protect your skin from high temperatures, such as saunas or direct sunlight, for two weeks.
  • Avoid blood thinners like aspirin or ibuprofen; paracetamol is permitted.
  • Keep your head elevated for at least one week and sleep on your back.
  • Avoid facial treatments, laser treatments, dental visits, and facial massages (including scrubs) for two weeks.
